Here Comes Trouble

She's a Red Dun and she reminds me SO MUCH of Dutchess.

Also, she's 100% mine where Rue is only 50% mine. (Don't get me wrong, I LOVE sharing Rue with Z, but it's a bit different when this one is ALL MINE!)

Also, this is what the very entrance of barn B looks like. If you walk through a large sliding door to the right of Nokaia (YOUR right), you'll enter the larger part where most of the 18 stalls are. Also first time using a photo backgorund SUCCESSFULLY. Forgot where it came from. Was saved to my PC. If you find it please link me!

Mari and Mara walked out of the main barn curiously as they heard the unmistakable sound of a horse trailer coming down the drive. They watched as the trailer pulled in between Barn A and Barn B and parked. "Sloan Industries. That's Nokaia's trailer!" Mara announced as she read the words on the side of the trailer. As Nokaia hopped out of the driver's seat Mari ran over to him. 

"Whatever we did I'm SO SORRY just PLEASE don't take Lina and leave and OMG you're not wearing your cowboy hat shit just got serious!" she exclaimed with a deer in the headlights look. Nokaia just stared at her.

"Uhhh...what are you talking about?"

"You're leaving right? Why else would you bring your trailer? There are no shows this weekend!" Mari seemed on the verge of loosing it.

Nokaia laughed. "Calm down. I'm not going anywhere." he reassured, starting to undo the latch on the back of the trailer. "You guys are my family."

Mari sighed in relief. "Then why...?"

Mara muttered "Here comes trouble.." under her breath.

"THIS is why!" Nokaia exclaimed, bringing down the ramp on the trailer and grinning as he lead a large mare off of it and brought her to stand in front of them. "I bought a horse!"

Both Mari and Mara just stared at him.

"You..bought..another..horse?" Mara said in disbelief. "Are you INSANE?"

"Yup!" Nokaia grinned. Mari shook her head. "Did you consult Lina? You know how she gets with you. She goes nuts from just you working with Monty and Tick. But actually OWNING another horse??"

"Not just ANY horse." 

The girls waited for him to continue.

"Guess what's special about her. Go on. Guess." He began leading the mare in a circle around them. 

"Well, she's pretty damn tall. I'd say 16 hands?" Mara guessed.

"Close. 15.3." he answered.

"She seems to be a red dun overo." Mari assumed as she noticed the way the markings covered the mare.

"Yup."

"Wait a second. Those legs. And the way she's built from the barrel and her hindquarters. She looks just like-"

"Dutchess with Diamonds." Nokaia cut Mara off before she could finish.

"You bought a Dutchess mare??" Mari gaped at her. She did look a lot like her dam.

Nokaia nodded and led the mare into Barn B where the quarantine section was. The girls were on his heels as he led the mare down the isle and into a quarantine stall.
